"God's Unshakable Kingdom"

Hebrews 12: 26-29, KJV

[26] "Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven."

 

[27] "And this word, yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain."

 

[28] "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:"

 

[29] "For our God is a consuming fire." This scripture reference means that God is holy and powerful and capable of both purifying and destroying whomever or whatever.

God is allowing a shaking to take place not only on earth but in heaven as well. When God says, "A shaking or shake," He is referring to a period of significant change or transformation, potentially involving political, social, and/or a spiritual change or disruption to something.

​

Those things that are manmade and are not of God will not be able to withstand the shaking. Only that which is of God will remain, everything else will be destroyed or removed. Sadly, to say, this means human and material things.

​

This is a time for those that do no know God, to get to know Him and those that know Him, draw even closer to Him. None of us want to be caught unprepared (spiritually) when He returns for His people.

​

God's holiness and power suggests that God's presence alone is purifying and transformative, capable of consuming anything that is not aligned with His will.
